Can you imagine any more spontaneously fantastical family than Morticia, Gomez, Wednesday, Pugsley, Uncle Fester and Grandmama Addams (with two ?d?s)? Of course: the matchless household made up of John, Toby Poser, Zelda and Lulu Adams (with one ?d?), who, when they set about making music, a punky take on stoner rock as in the soundtrack to this film, go by the name of H6LLB6ND6R. The day that the Addams meet the Adams will be apocalyptic. The Adams will be filming the Addams. Because the Adams make films. As a family. Pure, thrilling DIY. So thrilling that TGD is like a supernatural Fargo (1996) for the post-Covid era. For now, blood is starting to pour from the taps and the dead refuse to stay in their graves. Yes, the special effects are crap. So what?
