CLOSING CEREMONY / OUT OF COMPETITION

While some might think of nothing else but turning their legendary animated creations into flesh and blood characters with no soul, a cheeky band of Brits has created the franchise Twisted Childhood Universe, in which adorable figures from children's stories (or something like that) show they are what we always suspected: perverse, perverted, maniacal killers. It all began with Winnie the Pooh. Now it is the turn of an unleashed Pinocchio, created by an utterly frantic Geppetto, advised by a sadistic, winged Jiminy Cricket, in the manner of Tinkerbell. It is all quite outlandish, and perpetrated by two of the founders of the so-called Poohniverse. And yes, that voice you hear does belong to Robert Englund.
