IMDb tells us that the film is directed by Nando Martínez and Juan González. FilmAffinity is closer to the mark: it is the work of Burnin? Percebes, a collective (of two), intelligently on the edge of everything. Makers of The Fantastic Golem Affairs (2023), and supporters of the risky Balearic (2025). The people they join up with are always extreme. One example would be Javier Botet, who as well as playing the Vampire (with a spotted plastic raincoat), is the co-producer, in black and white and with phantasmagorical shadows, through his company Hot Potato. In the words of another of the production companies, Atlantika, Dracula is here ?an obsolete symbol closely tied to domination and violence whose disappearance would mean the end of an era and the need to destroy old myths so as to build completely new points of reference?.
