A policeman loses his colleague in a shootout with a band of arms dealers, and sets out on an implacable mission to hunt them down. To get close to the organisation's bigwigs, he joins forces with an undercover agent working as a hitman for the gangsters themselves. Together they venture into the heart of the criminal network, using all means available, and taking the use of force to its ultimate consequences. A classic of Nineties Hong Kong action cinema, directed by one of its most important filmmakers: John Woo.
