A love story runs through scenes in which legends become reality, witches are given dignity, impious priests are lost forever, mushrooms offer poison or release, women drink home-made patxaran liqueur, and the Devil is the exalted billy goat Akerbeltz. Where a dark kiss becomes a kiss of extreme, erotic purity. The soundtrack is by Aránzazu Calleja and Maite Arroitajauregi, but was previously sung by Patti Smith: the night belongs to lovers.
