SIN FICHERO ADJUNTO, BASANDERE, TUPPER, BURNT
Sin fichero adjunto, Basandere, Tupper, Burnt

Dance performance consisting of the pieces Sin fichero adjunto by Erain, Basandere by Node, Tupper by Osa + Mujika, and Burnt by Lasala.

Sin fichero adjunto, Erain

Sin fichero adjunto by the company Erain speaks of a situation which can be extrapolated to endless circumstances: feeling that you lack instructions, that you want a guide with the steps to follow. It raises the idea of the norm, the expectation of what is right, the established path. With each step, a new dilemma. How to grow by emerging from a previously learnt mould? With each dilemma, a new construction.

Basandere, Node

Basandere lived in the woods, and fell in love with a young man she met there. As the human did not respond to her calls for love on discovering that she had claws instead of feet, Basandere foretold his imminent death, which occurred the next day, his burial attended by Basandere herself.

Who is Basandere? Basajaun is the power of nature, vigour and strength, the guardian of the woodlands! And she? A romantic, vengeful and lustful being? The time has come to turn the tables.

Tupper, Osa + Mujika (PREMIER)

Tupper is the new creation by the Osa + Mujika company, and speaks of the obsession with perfection and the competitiveness to which it drives us. Perfection, an obsession which pursues us; untouchable, always a step beyond all our attempts. I will try. Time and again. And when the person alongside me is more perfect than I am, competition arises. The strength that leads us to overcome others, to want to be the most perfect, the best. But there will always be someone who is more correct, more complete, more unbeatable, and that will drive us mad.

Direction: Osa+Mujika. Choreography: Jaiotz Osa. Performers: Rafke Van Houplines, Paula Parra, Jaiotz Osa. Music: Gartxot Unsain, Olaia Inziarte. Costumes: Xabier Mujika. Images: Renata Etanowski.

Burnt, Lasala

Burnt is the latest creation of the Lasala company, true to their style and curated image. Faced with an increasingly demanding social mirror, the only possible strategy seems to be to shine every night with ever greater intensity. The price of so much consumption is the same as that paid by moths that fly too close to the light: the possibility of being consumed in a spontaneous burnout.

Concept, artistic direction: Judith Argomaniz. Choreography: Judith Argomaniz in collaboration with the performers. Dramaturgy: Judith Argomaniz, Fernando Epelde. Performers: Garazi Etxaburu, Ioar Labat, Leire Otamendi. Music: Fernando Epelde. Texts, live voice: Puy Barral. Costume design and creation: Xabier Mujika. Photography, video: Renata Etanowski. In collaboration with Donostia Kultura and with the support of Eusko Jaurlaritza, Etxepare Institutua and Gipuzkoako Foru Aldundia.
